I was hoping more coverage on basic PowerShell commands, but very limited coverage on basic commands. The link to find all commands was given, but I was hoping more on topics like permissions (none?), more examples on deleting, moving files. There was little coverage about attributes. Very few basic piping examples, few examples of file names in commands. So I was put off by focus of developer style scripting examples. I think this book would be a weak resource for beginning IT Technicians.
This is sort of a book for a crash course and isn't the only source of information you want to learn .NET.
I am a light PowerShell user but need to start improving my skill set. This book was a nice refresher and actually still showed me new things to try. I will keep this handy and refer back to it, especially the chapter for additional software to help with learning, checking and creating good scripts.

Ok I get it, it’s a cheap book, but come on! Just give it a read through before it gets published. There is way too many grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.Actual Power Shell content is very low. It’s mostly just opinions about what GUI/IDE to use.
